The second generation of the RCX had 80% of the bodywork changed. The front end now had modified Honda Accord lights, while the bonnet had a separate stainless steel opening. The sides skirts, doors, and rear end were re- designed. I wanted the car to stand out by being different hence had the idea of splitting the car graphics. On one side the car was completely matt black with only a lion logo in gloss, while the other side had to stand out with a 3 tone Graphic scheme. Even the wheels were coloured differently from one side to the other. The interior was a technological showcase and incorporated voice control on every kind of switch gear. This was controlled by an on board computer. This car made international success and was on the front cover of 4 different magazines, from 4 different countries. |
